Baker’s attorney, Bradford Cohen who is handling his robbery case told TMZ Sports that he turned himself in Saturday morning. Now the justice system will work to determine whether the Giants cornerback tossed his career away over this alleged crime or will be exonerated.
As it was previously reported, officials say Baker along with Seattle Seahawks corner Quinton Dunbar — along with a 3rd masked man — robbed several partygoers during a cookout on May 13. It was said that the guys took cash and jewelry before escaping in luxury getaway cars. Cops say Baker brandished a gun during the robbery. However, the football star denied all of these allegations against him through his attorney, who insists his client is innocent and he has multiple witnesses to back up his story.
As TMZ notes, Baker is facing multiple charges including armed robbery and aggravated assault for his alleged role in the incident.
