Ian Maxwell said there were no plea bargain deals offered to his sister and he hopes it stays that way. “Prosecution confirmed no plea bargain offers were made or received. I expect that position to be maintained,” he explained to the Sunday Times of London. As we previously reported, Maxwell faces up to 65 years in jail after being convicted of trafficking underage girls. Ian also added that his sister is not a “suicide risk” and has support from her family and friends.

“She knows there are many people, including her family of course, who love and support her and who believe in her innocence,” he further explained.
