Maxwell is accused of profiting from the January 23, 2023 interview, but she denies making money from the outlet’s exclusive. She discussed her new life behind bars in the interview and blamed her former lover, Jeffrey Epstein, for her downward spiral. Following the interview’s broadcast, jail officials handcuffed Maxwell and placed her in the Special Housing Unit at FCI Tallahassee.

“About two weeks after the show was on TV, Max was just minding her own business when they came in, turned her around and handcuffed her,”She got really upset, she was crying, she was yelling that she hadn’t received any money, but nobody saw her again for three days,” a close source said to the Daily Mail.

Maxwell stated during the interview that photo evidence of Prince Andrew with victim Virginia Giuffre was false and believed Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in prison. Additionally, she wanted to remain in England and continue her life as a banker.

I believe that he was murdered. I was shocked. Then I wondered how it had happened because as far as I was concerned, he was going to … I was sure he was going to appeal. And I was sure he was covered under the non-prosecution agreement. But I wasn’t in the indictment. I wasn’t mentioned. I wasn’t even one of the co-conspirators. I honestly wish I had never met him. Looking back now, I probably wish I had stayed in England. But leaving that aside, you know, I tried to leave and start another new job and move on from the end of ’98, ’99. So I wish I had been more successful in moving on … because I’d been a banker and so I should have moved on completely,”

As previously reported, Maxwell was sentenced to serve 20 years at prison and she will spend most of her time making 15 cents an hour scrubbing toilets. During the sentencing, she apologized to Epstein’s victims for his actions.

“I acknowledge with that I have been a victim of helping Jeffrey Epstein commit these crimes.I believe that Jeffrey Epstein was a manipulative, cunning, and controlling man who lived a profoundly compartmentalized life and fooled all of those in his orbit.

He should have stood before you in 2005, again in 2009, and again in 2019. … All the many times he was accused, charged, and prosecuted. but today it is not about Jeffrey Epstein ultimately,’ she said. To you, all the victims … I am sorry for the pain that you experienced.”

FCI Tallahassee is a minimum security prison where all inmates reportedly practice yoga and meditate during their spare time. TalkTV did not release a statement regarding Maxwell’s confinement after the controversial interview.
