Ghislaine Maxwell Deposition Transcripts Released, Claims She ‘Never Saw Any Inappropriate Underage Activities’ With Jeffrey Epstein
On Thursday (Oct. 22), officials released 465 pages of the Ghislaine Maxwell, 58, deposition transcripts from her civil case from 2016. In them, she claims she “never saw any inappropriate underage activities” with her sometime boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein.
Additionally, although the papers haven’t yielded any new names linked to Epstein — who was accused of sexual trafficking and sexual abuse up until his alleged suicide in 2019 — it did show her odd relationship with Epstein as an employee and sometime girlfriend.
However, throughout the transcripts, Maxwell repeatedly denied hiring anyone under the age of 18 for Epstein, further noting she’d “never [seen] any inappropriate underage activities” between him and his employees. She adds, “I have never seen anybody have sexual intercourse with Jeffrey, ever. I have never instructed [accuser] Virginia [Giuffre] to have sex with anybody ever. I never had nonconsensual sex with anybody ever, at any time, at anyplace, at any time, with anybody. I never ever at any single time at any point ever at all participated in anything with Virginia and Jeffrey.”
