Chrissy Teigen and John Legend‘s Genesis Super Bowl commercial has been edited to cut out a scene featuring a helicopter to pay respects to Kobe Bryant, Gianna and seven others who perished on Sunday morning in a helicopter crash.

“Today we re-cut our Super Bowl ad, to remove a stationary helicopter that was in the opening two seconds of the commercial,” a Genesis rep told USA Today. “The ad had been filmed, produced and delivered well before Sunday’s tragedy, so we took down the spot out of compassion and sensitivity to the families.”

The commercial will be Genesis’ first big Super Bowl commercial and it is scheduled to air during the second quarter of Sunday’s game.

The helicopter scene was not a staple part of the video and it will not make a difference to the overall message to be conveyed.
