GBI Identifies The Person Who Left The Mystery Note At Ahmaud Arbery Memorial

Yesterday we reported that someone had left a card at the shooting site of Ahmaud Arbery. The GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) now confirms they have identified the person who left the mystery note at his memorial.

Local news station News4JAX was the first to discover the eerie note, which read, “Ahmaud, I am so sorry. I should have stopped them. I am so sorry.” Subsequently, Arbery’s attorney, Lee Merritt, called the note a “critical piece of evidence” and immediately sent a picture of it to GBI agents and investigators working for District Attorney Joyette Holmes.
