Comedian and actor Gary Owen, who was previously married to a Black woman, is commenting on interracial dating when it comes to Asian and Black people. Owen, who divorced from his wife in 2021 after 18 years of marriage, said that a lot of Asian women smash Black men, but pointed out that the “exchange rate” of Black women dating Asian men doesn’t match.

During a recent episode of Bobby Lee’s ‘TigerBelly‘ podcast, Owen joins Lee, along with Khalyla Kuhn and Gilbert Galon, for a conversation. In the episode, Owen eventually brings up the unevenness of Asian women, Black women, Asian men and Black men.
Speaking to Lee, who is a Korean-American comedian and actor, Owen said, “Your women f**k a lot of Black guys.” Lee reacts by ripping off his headphones, taking off his beanie hat and combing his fingers through his head. Throughout all of this, Lee repeatedly says, “Wait, wait, wait. Stop, stop.”

Putting his headphones back over his ears and adjusting his microphone, Lee looks at Owen and says, “Say that again. Wait, wait, wait. Say that again, but slowly, I want to be able to absorb it.” Laughing, Owen slowly reiterates, “Your women f**k a lot of Black guys.” Looking Owen square in his face, Lee quickly replies, “True.”
While Owen tried to continue telling him how “there’s a lot of mixed [babies to prove it],” Lee directs his attention to someone off camera named Brad. Lee says, “Brad, let me say something to you, the exchange rate is wrong.” Lee goes on to explain what he means, claiming, “Because they don’t f**k us.”
Shocked and confused by his statement, Owen asks Lee, “The Koreans?” Quipping back, Lee says, “The Black girls,” and Owen replies sadly, “They don’t.” Lee turns back to Brad who is off camera and says, “Yeah, so what I’m saying is that we got to, like the [current writers and actors] strike. Our Asian women are going to go on strike.”
Joining the conversation on this proposed strike, Owen says, “They’re gonna picket, they’re gonna picket.” Lee continues, “And we’re going to rework that f**king contract.” Trying to reason with Lee, Owen laughs, shakes his head, and repeatedly says, “They’re not, they’re not.”

Standing tall on this ant hill, Lee again says, “We have to rework that contract, ’cause it’s like none of my Asian friends have got any Black tail.” Looking Lee dead in his face, Owen says, “They’e going to cross those picket lines so fast.”
