Welp, Kanye is being slammed, dropped, and basically canceled over his wild antics.
The rapper who once said “slavery was a choice” and recently called Black Lives Matter Movement a fraud while promoting White Lives Matter, has been hit with massive backlash over his shocking statements. However, it wasn’t until his most recent remarks about the Jewish community that has gotten everyone in an uproar.
As we previously reported, this Tuesday morning, Adidas announced that it has terminated its deal with the designer over his anti-semitic comments. Now, Gap seems to be following suit. According to a report, the company is now moving swiftly to scrub all Ye’s products from their store. In a statement, Gap explained, “In September, Gap announced ending its Yeezy Gap partnership,” the company wrote said this Tuesday (Oct. 25). “Our former partner’s recent remarks and behavior further underscore why. We are taking immediate steps to remove Yeezy Gap product from our stores and we have shut down Yeezygap.com.”
What Did Kanye Say?
Earlier this month he posted on social media that, among other things, he planned to go “death con 3 on Jewish people.” This was followed by an appearance on Revolt TV’s “Drink Champs” talk show where he went on an antisemitic rant. He also said claimed George Floyd died from fentanyl instead of being killed by a police officer who actually kneeled on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
What Impact Did This Cause?

Following West’s comments, a picture that went viral online showed a banner that was hung by a white supremacist group above the 405 freeway in Los Angeles reading “Kanye is right about the Jews.”
It didn’t take long for people online to react with major companies quickly ending their deals and partnership with the designer.
Not only has Ye been dropped as a client by CAA, a completed documentary about the rapper from MRC has also been shelved. According to The New York Times, Def Jam has also shared that Ye’s imprint, G.O.O.D. Music, is no longer affiliated with the label giant. On top of all that Kanye has been let go Balenciaga. Twitter and Instagram has even blocked him over antisemitic remarks.
Although Kanye has apologized for “hurting” people, he previously said he does not regret what he said.
So far, the entertainer has not yet released a statement on all these retail giant’s decisions to part ways with him.
Has Anyone Spoke Out In Support Of Kanye?
Shockingly yes. His major supporter, controversial commentator Candace Owens has shared a tweet saying,
“As a company, @adidas has every right to sever ties with whomever.
That said, they better pay Ye.
We are not going to witness Ye’s intellectual property be stolen and his life bankrupted while being told black people need to shut up about it or suffer the same consequence.”
