Future Scores His Seventh No. 1 Billboard 200 Album Debut With ‘High Off Life’

As expected, his surprise new album “High Off Life” went No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, making it his seventh chart-topper. As Billboard reports, the album, which was released on May 15, earned 153,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending May 21, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

Future already saw success just within the first 30 minutes after his release as it quickly achieved gold status. As the Independent UK reports, Gold certification means that an album has shifted 500,000 equivalent units. Chart Data followed up with another tweet to confirm those numbers: “US Certifications (@RIAA): @1future, High Off Life Gold (500,000).”
Future’s latest body of work features a star-studded list of rappers, including Drake, Meek Mill, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Travis Scott. Other stars on the track include YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Young Thug, and Lil Uzi Vert.
Future has been celebrating the good news on his Instagram story. The rapper has been reposting all the posts about his album going No. 1. He commented “God Bless” under one IG picture.
