Looks like a Fulton county judge has set Donald Trump’s bond $200,000 for his new case regarding his role in trying to interfere the 2020 election.  According to ABC, Donald Trump and 18 other defendants have been given until Friday at noon to appear at Fulton County Jail for processing.

The investigation has been focused on allegations of election fraud and misconduct during the presidential election in Georgia three years ago, and according to the Washington Post, Trump faces 13 counts. They include violating the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, soliciting a public officer to violate their oath, conspiring to impersonate a public officer, conspiring to commit forgery in the first degree and conspiring to file false documents. It is a significant development in the ongoing legal battles surrounding the election. Trump’s legal team will now have to mount a defense against these charges, and the outcome of this case could have far-reaching consequences for both Trump and the American political landscape.

As we previously reported, Trump was just taken into custody in Washington, D.C where he pleaded not guilty after a federal grand jury voted to indict him in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into his efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Before turning himself in, Trump shared a few words to his social platform that read: ‘I am now going to Washington, DC to be arrested for having challenged a corrupt, rigged, & stolen election. It is a great honor, because I am being arrested for you. Make America great again.” He shared. He also sent off an additional message that said, “Look, it’s not fault that my political opponent in the Democrat party, crooked Joe Biden has told his Attorney general to charge the leading (by far!) Republican Nominee and former president of the United States, me, with as many crimes as can be concocted so that he is forced to spend large amounts of time and money to defend himself.”

Trump is the only president to ever be indicted on criminal charges on criminal charges, following his indictment last month in the special counsel’s probe into his handling of classified materials after leaving office, also his indictment in April was on New York state charges where he allegedly falsified business records in connection with a hush money payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. In the history of the country, no president or former president had ever been indicted prior to Trump’s first indictment in April.

rump has stated publicly that he still plans to run for president even if he’s convicted of these charges. “I’ll never leave,” Trump said in the interview on his private plane. “Look, if I would have left, I would have left prior to the original race in 2016. That was a rough one. In theory that was not doable.”

Trump made a video and shared on the internet where he addressed his second indictment saying, “very sadly we’re a nation in decline and yet, they go after a popular president that got more votes than any sitting president in the history of our country by far. And did much better the second time in the election than the first.” He said. “They can’t stop because it’s election interference at the highest level there’s never been anything like what’s happened. I’m an innocent man, I’m an innocent person.”
