‘Friday’ Star Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister Dead At 62

Tommy “Tiny” Lister, who is most notable for his intimidating in the cult-classic ‘Friday‘ as “Deebo,” has died at 62, per TMZ. The site reports that law enforcement officials received a call to the actor’s Marina Del Rey, CA apartment on Thursday (Dec. 10), just before 3PM, about an unconscious male.

Additional sources tell the site that Lister was not immediately rushed to a hospital, as he was pronounced dead at the scene. A coroner arrived to the home to investigate, however an initial/official cause of death has yet to be made public.

In addition to his big and bad role in ‘Friday‘ and its sequel ‘Next Friday,’ Lister also played roles in ‘The Fifth Element,’ ‘The Dark Knight,’ and also voiced a the character “Finnick” in ‘Zootopia.’ Lister also had a couple pro wrestling gigs, and starred alongside Hulk Hogan.
