French Montana Reveals Akon Gifted Him A Fake Watch
Just shortly after Lil Baby’s fake watch controversy, another rapper is revealing he was also once gifted fake jewels!
While speaking with @akademiks, French Montana revealed popular artist Akon gave him a fake luxury watch for his birthday.

French explained that the singer gave him a watch that wasn’t iced out so he took it to his jeweler to switch it for him. The jeweler joked and told French that Akon couldn’t have given him that watch because it was fake. French said he called Akon to let him know that it wasn’t real. From there, Akon said he would call his jeweler to find out what’s going on but French never heard from him about it ever since.
Akon hasn’t spoken out to share how he plans to make it up to French Montana. However, the rapper doesn’t seem pressed at all about getting another watch.
