Raelynn Larrison’s father immediately called 911 after he woke up to see the family dog laying on top of her. He told the dispatcher that the baby girl was not breathing and unconscious around 7 p.m. and Larrison was transported to the Dayton Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
As reported by PEOPLE, a neighbor described the dog as big and it would often leave the family’s Dayton home from time to time. They said, “God bless that child and I just hope they get that dog taken care of one way or the other so it won’t injure anyone else,”
