Former WWE Star Shad Gaspard Has Died At Age 39
Socialites, we have some unfortunate news to share. The L.A. County Coroner has identified the body found on L.A.’s Venice Beach as ex-WWE superstar Shad Gaspard, according to TMZ.

As we previously reported, Gaspard went missing on Sunday afternoon when a group of swimmers, including Shad and his son, Aryeh, got caught in a rip current south of the Pier. The brave star told lifeguards to focus on getting his 10-year-old to shore safely. However, when they returned, they were unable to locate Gaspard.
Following a two day search, police and Coast Guard boats and divers suspended their efforts. Law enforcement sources say a body was first seen on the beach by a citizen who called cops around 1:30 AM Wednesday. From there, officers responded and recovered the body right near Venice Pier.
This morning, the L.A. Fire Department held a news conference saying the body matches the description of Shad — a 6’6″ black male over 240 lbs. Shortly after, the L.A. County Coroner identified the body as the former superstar Shad Gaspard.

He was just 39-years-old.
Shad leaves behind his wife Siliana and their son.
