Pence and his wife, Karen, moved back home to Indiana but the couple reportedly doesn’t have any property there. They are reportedly staying at Pence’s brother’s home in Columbus or at a vacation home owned by Gov. Eric Holcomb. As reported by Business Insider, a close source said Pence has not owned a home in ten years and he has a reported net worth of $1 million.

However, money is not an issue for the former Vice President since he had earned $235,000 over his four-year term and he will have Secret Service protection for up to six months. Insiders alleged that Pence and his family are moving between homes to avoid any death threats or assassination attempts due to the events that occurred at the Capitol on Jan 6. During the riots, Trump supporters screamed “Hang Mike Pence” after Trump denounced him during a speech and in several tweets.
