Former Playboy Playmate Ashley Mattingly died of an apparent suicide in her home this weekend. She was 33.
According to the Daily Mail, Mattingly took her own life on Wednesday after years of battling alcohol and drug abuse and left a suicide note. Police discovered the former Playboy model’s body two days later at her home in Austin, Texas after a concerned friend called for a welfare check. Her twin siblings, Billy and Christy, confirmed the tragic news on their social media pages on Sunday.

Mattingly was named Playboy’s Miss March 2011 and used to date “Prison Break” actor Lane Garrison. The couple had domestic violence issues during their relationship. He hasn’t left a comment about her passing.
