Former NY Jets Star Al Toon’s Daughter Killed In Murder-Suicide
The daughter of former New York Jets star Al Toon was reportedly killed in a murder-suicide by her husband.
Molly Lillard was fatally shot on Sunday at her home in Arizona. Police suspect that Lillard’s husband, 36-year-old Royce Lillard III, shot her before killing himself. Their 8-month-old baby was unharmed.

“For several hours officers attempted to establish communication with the male with no success,’ said Scottsdale Police Department officer Kevin Watts. At approximately 10:45 p.m. SWAT officers were able to make entry into the home where the male suspect was discovered deceased from what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
Royce had barricaded himself inside the family home when police initially arrived. Molly was taken to the hospital but died from her injuries. The couple got married in 2018.
According to Facebook, the couple married over two years ago in 2018.
Molly Lillard was athletic like her father and played volleyball with the University of Michigan. Toon played an eight-year career with the Jets from 1985-1992.
