Former North Carolina Walmart Employee Charged After Plowing Car Through Aisles

Lacy Cordell Gentry, a 32-year-old former North Carolina Walmart employee, has been charged, facing two felony counts, after plowing his car through the front entrance of his old job, and driving around the aisles as all the employees ran out.

On Friday morning (Apr. 2), Gentry drove through a store on Thunder Road in Concord, NC around 6 a.m. and was later arrested. Fortunately, there were reported injuries. It’s reported that Gentry was fired within the last week, and although law enforcement officials haven’t revealed a motive, they do believe he may’ve been disgruntled and unhappy with management.
