As previously shared, online records show a Jane Doe filing her case case against Lil Uzi, born Symere Bysil Woods, on October 20, 2025. Ellis George, Doe’s attorney, submitted the complaint to the California Superior Court in Los Angeles County. The defendants include, Roc Nation LLC, Does 1 Through 10, Symere Bysil Woods D/B/A Lil Uzi Vert, and Uzivert LLC.

Doe’s formal claims include: Discrimination Claims, Employment Claims, Employment Discrimination Claims, Sexual Harassment, and Wage and Hour Claims. Furthermore, a summary of the case reveals that Roc Nation artist Lil Uzi Vert is accused of persistent sexual harassment through text messages and verbal comments.

Additionally, the “Just Wanna Rock” rapper is accused of forcing his former female assistant to be available 24/7, while traveling throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia. Doe also claimed she worked 12-39-hour shifts without overtime pay. She also claimed she paid business expenses out-of-pocket and never received reimbursement.

The former assistant also alleged that Lil Uzi made her work for his girlfriend, City Girls alum, JT, born Jatavia Shakara Johnson, for free.

Doe also claimed she reported the burnout and requested a performance review to management. Despite Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez reportedly promising a review, Doe claimed management ignored her. Ultimately, the alleged hostile work environment and alleged drug-fueled retaliation, led to her constructive discharge (aka resignation) in April 2025.

Doe alleged Lil Uzi Vert sent explicit messages to her, including:

  • “Come rub me down before you leave.”
  • “I’m by myself right now send me something.”
  • “You’re more than my assistant. You’re my b*tch.”

According to lawsuit documents, Jane Doe sought compensatory and punitive damages from Roc Nation, Lil Uzi Vert, and his companies. The docs also claimed she experienced emotional distress, financial loss, and systemic abuse tolerated by his management team.

According to online records, all parties were due in court on March 25, 2026, as of October 27. Specifically, for a case management conference. However, a surfacing document reveals Doe’s attorney filed to dismiss the case, without prejudice. This meaning that the option remains open for Doe to re-file her case at a later date. The legal term is also used to protect communications made during settlement negotiations of an existing dispute from being used as evidence in court.

The document shows that on November 6, just 17 days after filing their case in court, Doe and her attorney filed a request to dismiss their complaint against “Roc Nation LLC, et al.” — which stands for “et alia” or “et alii,” and is Latin for “and others.”

Note: At the time of publishing, the Superior Court online docket still shows the latest update as of October 27, despite the surfacing document requesting a dismissal.
