Security Guard Drops Bombshell in Court: Diddy Allegedly Paid $100K for Hotel Assault Footage
As the explosive federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial against Diddy reaches its 15th day in New York, a key witness took the stand with jaw-dropping claims. Eddy Garcia, a security supervisor at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City—the same hotel where the infamous Cassie beating incident allegedly occurred—testified that Diddy paid $100,000 to obtain the video footage.
This comes just weeks after shocking testimony from other witnesses and associates close to the case.
Garcia laid out the timeline, beginning with the week of March 10, 2016. That’s when he was first alerted to a disturbing scene on the hotel’s video surveillance feed. After zooming in, he realized it was none other than Sean “Diddy” Combs—and later learned the woman was Cassie Ventura.
Garcia made it clear that law enforcement wasn’t contacted because Cassie herself chose not to report the incident. However, what followed next was straight out of a thriller.
Kristina Khorram, Diddy’s chief of staff at Combs Enterprises, called Garcia from a New York area code asking about the video. She allegedly told Garcia that Diddy had been intoxicated and couldn’t recall what happened. Defense lawyer Brian Steel immediately objected, and the judge upheld it.
Still, the situation was far from over. Garcia said Khorram showed up at the hotel, looking for him, trying to gain access to the footage. When she asked again, he told her to speak to hotel management or file a subpoena. But off the record, he let it slip that what was captured on that tape was bad—“real bad.”
Diddy’s Direct Involvement: “You Know Who I Am?” He Allegedly Asked
Things got real when Garcia said Diddy personally got on the line. “Do you know who I am?” Diddy allegedly asked after Khorram handed over the phone. Garcia described him as “fast-talking and nervous.”
Diddy allegedly begged Garcia to turn over the tape, saying it could ruin his entire career. Garcia, staying calm under pressure, told him he didn’t have access to the server himself.
But the persistence continued.
A follow-up call came through—not just from Khorram but from Diddy himself again. Garcia said it was made to his personal number. This time, Diddy allegedly offered to “take care of him.” Garcia took that to mean money.
The deal started to come together after Garcia spoke with his supervisor, Bill Medrano. Medrano allegedly told him, “I could handle it for $50K.”
Garcia got Khorram back on the line. Diddy joined the call and reportedly called Garcia his “angel” before pushing to finalize the deal. From there, the alleged exchange moved swiftly.
The Handoff: USB Stick, West L.A. High-Rise, and a Nervous Diddy
Garcia said Medrano entered the hotel’s server room, copied the video to a USB stick, and later met Diddy at a luxury high-rise in West L.A. During the handoff, Diddy reportedly asked him if that was the only copy. He allegedly stressed that nothing should remain “on the cloud.”
Garcia told him that Medrano had removed the video entirely from the server. No digital trace. No evidence.
In a case already filled with disturbing allegations, Garcia’s account adds a new level of high-stakes cover-up. His story also raises serious questions about obstruction and hush payments.
Though the defense team hasn’t responded directly to Garcia’s claims, the court proceedings have taken on a darker tone as more figures from Diddy’s circle take the stand.
