Former Congressman Ron Paul Suffers Stroke During Live Stream

Former Texas congressman and the father of Rand Paul, Ron Paul, appeared to have suffered a “stroke” during a live stream early Friday afternoon.

During his broadcast of the weekly Youtube show “Liberty Report”, Paul appeared to have a “stroke-like” symptoms while speaking with his guest about free-market economists. As reported by the New York Post, Paul said “We have to get rid of that and it’s a burd–a burd” before his speech became slurred and the broadcast was instantly cut off.

Hours after the broadcast, Paul’s official Twitter posted the following tweet: “Message from Ron Paul: “I am doing fine. Thank you for your concern.””

Another tweet from his page reads, “Echoing the sentiment of one of my associates, I’m glad it happened live where someone noticed immediately and could get him medical help rather than it happening and him only being found hours later,”

After the troubling live stream, the video was taken down from YouTube but clips have been circulating on different platforms.
