The suspect, 28-year-old Shenika Serdahl, reportedly struck a man in the face with a metallic Pringles can after a brief exchange inside the store. The victim told police he had walked into the store when a male made a comment about his car and asked Serdahl if she was with him. Moments later, Serdahl allegedly launched the can directly into the man’s eye and fled the scene.

Authorities Say Cut May Cause Permanent Disfigurement
Law enforcement detailed the extent of the victim’s injuries in the official arrest affidavit, stating,
“While speaking with [the victim], I observed that he had a significant cut on his right eyebrow and below his eye, causing him to bleed. The cut looked significant and appeared that it would leave a scar and permanent disfigurement.”
Authorities acted swiftly. After the victim identified Serdahl as the attacker, she was arrested and taken into custody. During the arrest, Serdahl admitted to hitting the man, claiming he was rude to her. She allegedly told officers, “[The victim] at one point called her a c–––,” and admitted that his alleged rudeness provoked her reaction.
However, the victim denied any inappropriate behavior, and a 7-Eleven employee backed his version of events, stating that the man did not say anything disrespectful or aggressive.
“All the guy was doing [was] informing me of another male customer that was laying down on the side of the building. The female called the guy a b–––– and whacked him with the Pringles which literally went flying down one of the aisles. The male customer’s eyebrow was split open.”
Serdahl was charged with one count of aggravated battery, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.
