Florida Mom Shows Up To Daughter’s School With Boxing Gloves And Attacks Student

A Jacksonville woman was arrested after she appeared at her daughter’s middle school wearing boxing gloves and started assaulting another student.

Edith Riddle, 34, allegedly attacked the student last week at Dupont Middle School after a meeting with her daughter and the vice principal. Shortly after the meeting, Riddle and her daughter went straight to the cafeteria where her daughter started shoving and punching the student. Riddle jumped in and began hitting the girl while wearing a boxing glove on her left glove.

According to the New York Post, Riddle told police that the glove was “super-glued” to her wrist and couldn’t remove it once she entered the school’s campus.

The student sustained minor injuries which included bruises on her knees and forearms, and she was transported to a local hospital for a check-up. Her parents are planning to file criminal charges against Riddle. Riddle was arrested and charged with child abuse with a personal weapon.
