Florida Man Steals Alligator From Golf Course & Beats It To “Teach It A Lesson”

Outside is open and the Florida man is back!

William “Bubba” Hodge, 32, was arrested early Thursday in Daytona Beach Shores, after he stole an alligator from a golf course, tried to throw it not a roof, and beat  it so that he could “teach it a lesson.”

WOFL reports that officers spotted Hodge slamming the reptile against the wall while attempting to get it on a roof. He also reportedly threw the alligator on the ground and stomped on it twice.

When the cops approached Hodge, he surrendered and told them that he stole the alligator and was throwing it in the air by its tail because he was “teaching it a lesson.”

Fortunately, for the gator, Hodge was charged with animal cruelty, possession and injury of an alligator, unarmed burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, petit theft, and criminal mischief, and was hauled to jail, away from innocent gators.
