Florida Man Mauled By Leopard After Dropping $150 For ‘Full Contact Experience’
Dwight Turner, a 50-year-old Florida man was mauled by a black leopard after dropping $150 for a “full contact experience” with the rare cat.
Since the August 31 attack, which happened in an enclosure behind the Davie home of Michael Poggi, Turner had to undergo several surgeries and spent a week in the emergency room. It’s reported that Turner’s $150 fee went to Poggi in order for him to let Turner “play with” the black cat and “rub its belly.”

Once Turner walked into the enclosure, the animal immediately charged after him, and ended up ripping apart one of his ears and leaving a part of his scalp “hanging from his head.” While Poggi is licensed to have the leopard, he eventually was charged with allowing full contact with an extremely dangerous animal. He ended up admitting his wrongdoing in allowing the illegal contact.
