Authorities in Miramar, Florida, confirmed that Brianna Johnson “succumbed to her injuries” this past Sunday after a white sedan pulled alongside the driver’s side of the vehicle and unleashed a hail of gunfire. The scene was nothing short of chaotic, with two other male occupants of the Lamborghini Urus also struck in the attack; they were immediately rushed to a local hospital where they remain in critical condition. According to reports from 7News, Johnson’s family revealed that the group had been spotted at a major party earlier that evening.
Details are still emerging, but loved ones noted the trio later made a stop at a Shell gas station, where an altercation allegedly broke out. Chilling surveillance footage obtained by 7News captures a light-colored vehicle tailing the Lamborghini down the street before speeding away after letting off rounds of gunfire, leaving the luxury SUV to roll into a nearby property.
Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss addressed the chilling incident, telling NBC 6 South Florida, “Certainly they targeted this particular car for some reason. We’re trying to figure out why.”
As the investigation continues, witnesses described the holiday weekend horror as sounding like a “heavy stream of gunfire.”
