Aww! A WestJet flight attendant has gone viral after video footage of her reunion with a teacher she hadn’t seen in 30 years left quite the reaction on social media users. During a flight from Toronto to Los Angeles, a woman named Lora spoke into the airplane’s microphone as she reminded passengers that it was National Teachers Day.

She expressed that on this day, people were to recognize their favorite teachers before she called out Ms. O’Connell, her former tutor who happened to be on board the aircraft. “I am going to get emotional now, but today I saw my teacher from 1990, Ms. O’Connell who is on board the aircraft,” she said. “She is my favorite teacher ever and I have not seen her since 1990. This lady made me love Shakespeare, got me to play the piano, I have my master’s in piano, and I can write an essay. Thank you, Ms. O’Connell. I love you.”

The Instagram user, Keona Thrasher, which originally shared the video had captioned the clip, writing, “Yesterday while we were boarding our flight from YYZ/LAX we had the pleasure to watch this reunion between one of our WestJet CSAs and her teacher. On international teacher day of all days! .Thank you Lora for sharing this moment with our crew, guest and of course Ms O’Connell.”

The adorable moment was said to have been filmed on October 5, which is known as Teacher Appreciation Day in Canada, but it wasn’t until last week when the video began surfacing on all social media platforms, including TikTok, where it has amassed millions of views.
