First Black Transgender Victoria’s Secret Model Emira D’Spain Gets A BBL: “I Finally Have The Curves I’ve Always Wanted”

Emira D’Spain is updating her look! According to TMZ, Emira, who is the first black transgender Victoria’s Secret model, went under the knife for a Brazilian Butt Lift.

She told the news site that she got the surgery done in NYC. She got a minimally invasive BBL, along with liposuction of the abdomen and waist with fat transfers to the butt. Some may ask, “why did she get it if she already looked great?” Well, Emira told TMZ that she’s always been insecure about her lower stomach, especially after dropping 30 lbs. Now that finally went through with the procedure she says “I finally have the curves I’ve always wanted.”

Dr. Ryan Neinstein, who specializes in modern body sculpting techniques also spoke with TMZ and said Emira had light sedation for the procedure which allows a quicker recovery, which is great for her since she’s on the go due to her career.

So how much did this procedure cost?

According to TMZ, the procedure cost Emira around $20k… yes $20K and she’s completely fine with that. Dr. Neinstein insist that the results of the BBL was best for her as he claims diet and exercise wouldn’t be able to achieve the bikini body look she wanted, so this got it done just in time for her next VS photo shoot. Back in 2020 Emira became the first Black transgender model to work with Victoria’s Secret as a part of their Valentine’s Day social campaign.

After making history, D’Spain said at the time that she was “Honored to be the first black trans girl working with @victoriassecret,” D’Spain wrote alongside photos of herself from the video. “As a kid I only DREAMED of being a part of Victoria’s Secret. @valentts paved the way and it’s such an honor to continue that legacy on the first day of black history month.” The model who’s also known for her beauty tips and comedic “Get Ready With Me” makeup videos on TikTok, previously said her mission is “to empower young trans women and men around the world to show them that the beauty and fashion industries are changing, especially if you are a POC. I am so grateful to work with Victoria’s Secret and hope this paves the way for those after me.”

While it’s clear many celebirties have gone under the knife to enhance their glutes, a lot of them haven’t admitted to it. However, stars like K. Michelle have been completely transparent about her cosmetic surgery journey… the good and the bad. After getting here reconstructive surgery, K. Michelle said,
“I’m happy with my body. It’s nowhere near the ideal that I had before, but when it’s all said and done, it’s going to be my body.”
