The former Los Angeles fire captain who was asked to photograph the gruesome crash site where Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others lost their lives, has testified in court saying that being tasked to take the snaps led him to quit his job. Vanessa Bryant is currently embroiled in a multi-million-dollar lawsuit against Los Angeles County, who allegedly shared photos of the wreck with dozens of people, days after her attorney claimed officers and first responders intentionally distributed the pics “for a laugh.”
But when ex-fire captain Brian Jordan shared his testimony in court on Monday, he vehemently denied ever sharing the ghastly images with others, as he recounted how difficult it was for him to even take the snapshots, to begin with. Bryant’s legal team has accused Jordan of taking close-up shots of body parts from the scene, which were alleged to have circulated to at least 28 people — but in his defense, he says, “I followed many instructions that day but was told ‘take pictures, take pictures, take pictures.”
It angers me so much how first responders literally took photos of the crash of Kobe Bryant and Gianna’s body, especially hearing such graphic detail on how they were discovered. I fucking hope Vanessa sues and gets some peace and privacy

“It was horrifying and what put me off the job,” he said. “I was there. I do not remember being there. Please stop describing the scene to me. Please refrain from taking my brain back to that crash site. I’m not sure what I was taking pictures of.” Prosecutors were said to have continued describing the photos that were snapped at the site, prompting Jordan to request a break from the courtroom on three occasions, according to PEOPLE.
When he returned, he continued to share, “I have an image in my head that is not pleasant. The way that whole scene looked is going to haunt me forever.”
Vanessa’s legal team stressed how their client had suffered from mental and emotional distress after uncovering what had taken place with the photos that were taken at the crash site where two of her loved ones lost their lives, as the court was told that at least 28 people were shown the pics on devices owned by the LA Sheriff’s Department and another 10 first responders.
Kobe Bryant’s autopsy report being released to the public just doesn’t sit right with me.

Sources say that throughout most of the proceedings on Monday, when witnesses took to the stand to testify, Vanessa kept her head in her hands and opted not to make eye contact with those who are accused of being involved in sharing the invasive photos with their colleagues.
It was just last week when ex-bartender Victor Gutierrez testified having seen pics of Kobe’s body after being sent a string of photos by deputy trainee Joey Cruz while he was working a bartending shift, via USA Today.
