Lily Watts and Liam Trimmer had planned the party to celebrate their engagement and pregnancy announcement. Surrounded by friends and family, the occasion was meant to begin a new chapter in their lives together. However, Liam’s tragic death has plunged Lilly into profound grief and uncertainty. According to TOO FAB, a close friend of Lilly, a dedicated Clinical Registered Nurse at Royal Perth Hospital, launched a GoFundMe campaign to support her through this tough time.
“This GoFundMe campaign seeks to provide some solace amidst the darkness that has enveloped Lilly’s life. While no amount of money can bring back Liam or erase the pain of his loss, we hope to ease the burden that now weighs heavily on Lilly’s shoulders. The funds raised will enable her to access the support she needs, from counseling to covering the costs of daily living and preparing for the arrival of her baby,” the post reads.

The Western Australia Police Force Commissioner, Col Blanch, underlined the great sadness felt by those who observed the tragedy and those close to Trimmer, expressing many people’s desire to “wake up from this nightmare.”
His employer released a statement after the news of his passing and wrote, “The passing of a valued member of the blue family deeply saddens us. A dedicated Police Officer sadly passed away in an off-duty accident over the weekend. The WA Police Union sends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the fallen officer during this difficult period.”
