Fetty Wap Arrested In New York On Federal Drug Charges
As first reported by @theneighborhoodtalk, rapper Fetty Wap was arrested in New York on Thursday as he was arriving for the Rolling Loud Music Festival. While full details weren’t available at the time, it’s now being reported that he was arrested on federal drug charges.

According to ABC7, a law enforcement source said that FBI agents arrested the rapper, whose real name is William Junior Maxwell II, at Citi Field on those charges but the indictment against him is still sealed.
However, it was said that he will be in federal court in Central Islip to answer the charges later Friday morning.
The “Trap Queen” artist was previously arrested back in 2019 on three counts of battery, and in 2017 on a DUI charge after police say he was caught drag racing another car on a New York City highway. We will continue to keep you updated as this story develops.
