Felony Charges Dismissed For Protestors Arrested At Kentucky Attorney General’s House
Per Louisville’s WLKY, the felony charges pressed against #JusticeForBreonnaTaylor protestors, who were arrested at the Kentucky Attorney General’s house earlier this week, have been dismissed. However, protestors will still face trespassing and disorderly conduct charges.
A Jefferson County attorney dropped the felonies issued for 87 protestors who sat and peacefully protested outside of the home of KY Attorney General Daniel Cameron. All 87 were charged with (1) Intimidating a participation in legal process; (2) Criminal trespass in the the 3rd degree; (3) Disorderly conduct in the 2nd degree. Again, only the first charge has been dropped — which will be expunged from records 30 days after the dismissal — the latter two remain.
