The FBI has declassified the first 9/11 document on Saturday after President Joe Biden signed an executive order.

The 2016 document revealed the bureau’s investigation of that a Saudi official and a Saudi intelligence agent allegedly supported the first two hijackers in Los Angeles. The two men, one identified as Omar al-Bayoumi, helped allegedly support the hijackers with travel expenses, housing, and financing before the terrorist attacks. Saudi government officials have continued to deny their involvement in the attacks despite fifteen of the 19 terrorists who hijacked the planes on Sept. 11, 2001, were Saudi nationals as reported by CNN.
The 9/11 Families United said in a statement that the report has solved the mystery of the Saudi government’s involvement in the attacks. “Even with the unfortunate number of redactions, the report contains a host of bombshell new revelations, implicating numerous Saudi government officials, in a coordinated effort to mobilize an essential support network for the first arriving 9/11 hijackers, Nawaf al Hazmi and Khalid al Mihdhar,” they said.

Saudi Arabia has expressed their support for the United States to release the documents involve the 9/11 terrorist attacks and said it would provide evidence that the country was no involved in the attacks.
