A single father was killed while trying to protect his 14-year-old son from a man who threatened to stab him on a bus in London.

Tunde Fadayomi,40, was attacked Thursday evening after the teen was reportedly threatened by an unknown suspect on a bus. The fight took place shortly afterward near a chicken spot in Willesden and authorities said the single father was stabbed multiple times at the restaurant’s doorway then walked away “without a single care.” According to The Mirror, a witness said the suspect walked away from the scene as if nothing happened after he stabbed Fadayomi in front of his son.
They added that the argument between the suspect and Fadayomi’s son started after he accused the teen and his friend of preventing the bus from moving but the bus stopped because the vehicle was switching bus drivers.“The bus had stopped outside Willesden Garage and the man just kept shouting that he needs to see his mum and then he started accusing the boys of being the reason why the bus wasn’t moving. I was on my phone and was thinking ‘why is this grown man shouting at these boys. The boys were trying to calm him down but then he reached into his crotch and pulled out a blade. The boys ran off the bus and one said he was going to get his dad,” he said

They added that Fadayomi and the man started fighting each other and people recorded the encounter. However, no one called for help after the stabbing, and the witness said he was the only one who called the police.
“I was the only one who called police. We need to change the way we use technology and use it sensibly not stand by and watch a man dying. This man died protecting his son. As a father myself, I understand why he confronted his killer and we would do the same. He did what any decent father did and he lost his life while the killer walked away without a care in the world.”
