Fat Joe Shares His Top 5 List Of Best Female Rappers!
Hollywood Unlocked was in attendance for Remy Ma’s big “Queens Get The Money” event on Sunday, Feb.27 for her all-female battle rap league, Chrome 23. Many stars came out to support the rap star including her good friend Fat Joe who chopped it up with us!
While speaking with the rap veteran, he gave us his top 5 list of best female rappers. Without hesitation, Joe told us that his list includes: “Remy Ma, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Roxanne Shante, and The Lady of Rage.”

During our short interview, we also asked Joe how much has his price gone up this year since he’s been super booked and busy and recently hosted the Wendy Show with Remy. He replied with a smile, “the price is so high right now… you can see it!”
The fun event continued with the ladies of the league going bar-for-bars on stage, giving fans exactly what they were hoping to see. While speaking about the creation of Remy’s rap league, Remy said in a press release: “Women are killing it in the game right now. There are more successful, female rappers than ever before in this Industry. This Is a big moment, and I want to rally behind that and build other MCs up.”
