This Friday (Oct. 4) marks what would have been Rich Homie Quan’s 35th birthday. As previously reported, the hip-hop star died on September 5 from an accidental drug overdose, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office. Although he is no longer here, fans, friends, and family have vowed to keep his legacy alive.

In celebration of his birthday, his estate released his posthumous project, “Forever Going In” today. The album includes 35 songs and features contributions from 2 Chainz, Lil Tjay, Sukihana, Skilla Baby, and more. As music fans take a listen to his new project, others are also taking this day to remember the beloved rapper.

His girlfriend, Amber Williams, penned a heartfelt message on Instagram. She wrote, “Happy Birthday to MY RichHomie or as you would say Happy Rixhday! So many memories to even fit in one post, just gathered your birthday over the years! I guess you wanted me to rest this year because you know how I’m coming about you no matter what! The laughs, the cries, the unforgettable moments that kept us as a whole.”

She continued, “You were so ready for this day; unfortunately, God decided you should celebrate with Him. So while you’re smiling down on us, it is indeed our duty to honor your heavenly birthday. The music ain’t gon’ stop, gon’ keep this in rotation! Today & forever will always be FOR YOU! I miss you & love you even more. #RichHomieQuan #HappyBirthday #ForeverGoingIn #NeverForgotten.”
