Keion Dade,24, went missing Thursday after he went overboard on the Catalina Express. On Friday, the Coast Guard said in a tweet that they ended their search but Dade’s family said they are not giving up and have been spreading knowledge about their loved one’s disappearance, urging for others to help find him.

His sister, Aniya, posted on Facebook asking LA County to help out with the family’s search.

“We are requesting LA county search and recovery’s diving team to assist in our search for Keion. Dave Carver is world renowned in this type of effort and there is conflicting information with regards to the depth of the water. Keion’s location was in a more shallow area where this depth is able to cover. Search and recovery never dove because they were told he was too deep, but now based on the pin he was never too deep and we need the LA county search and recovery out there looking. If everyone can please help us share this information so that we can find my brother my family would appreciate it. let’s bring him home!!!!! Please continue to tag the LA county sheriffs department as well. #BringKeionHome Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.”
