Timothy Bliefnick, 39, made an appearance on Family Feud in 2019, but the episode didn’t air until 2020. During the episode, Bliefnick joked about his marriage with host Steve Harvey after being asked, “What was the biggest mistake you made at your wedding?” “I do,” the Illinois resident responded. According to the Daily Mail, Harvey gave him a blank stare after the crowd laughed, and some gasped at his response. ‘It’s going to be a lot of hell to pay at your house,’ Harvey said.

On Tuesday, Bliefnick was arrested and charged with the death of Rebecca Bliefnick. Relatives said she filed a restraining order against Timothy and was discovered dead in her home on February 23 after her three children were not picked up from school in Quincy, Illinois.

Timothy’s home is a mile away from Rebecca’s, and she previously lived there before filing the restraining order against him and his father. After learning about her passing, he attempted to attend her funeral but skipped it because he didn’t want to appear as a distraction. His lawyer, Casey Schnack, claims his client is innocent and told Fox News she was preparing several court filings to protect his constitutional rights.

‘I have requested but have not received copies of the charging document and arrest warrant. We will be evaluating his case and making decisions as more information comes in. Seeking an OP in a divorce is not uncommon gameplay in Adams County. The state’s attorney’s office needs a narrative. It appears that domestic violence is that narrative.

During his appearance at the Adams County Clubhouse, Timothy was also charged with home invasion, and he didn’t enter a plea after the charges were filed. He will remain in custody until the next hearing. Schnack added that Timothy didn’t have a previous arrest record and wasn’t considered a danger to his three children.  Timothy appeared on Family Feud again with his mother, brothers, and father in 2021.

Rebecca’s sister, Sarah, wrote on a GoFundMe page that she was known as a woman who had “fierce love for her family” and worked in the medical profession as a nurse.

‘Despite the circumstances of her death, she is remembered for the life she cherished – a life of compassion, generosity, faith, and fierce love for her family. She leaves behind three young children and an entire community who loved her more than anything.  Becky always envisioned herself working hands-on in the medical profession, so it was no surprise when she chose a career in nursing – her true calling – where she was able to provide care and comfort to people on a daily basis.’
