Falynn Pina has opened up about her thoughts on the breakup between her ex-husband Simon Guobadia and Porsha Williams, and she did not hold back during her recent appearance on the Baller Alert Podcast.
Pina expressed that she was not surprised by the split and even suggested that their relationship may have been a “ploy” to get back at her. When asked about the possibility of running into Porsha, Pina hinted that it wouldn’t be a pleasant encounter, stating, “That wouldn’t be a safe scenario… at the end of the day, she knows what she did.” However, she added, “I wouldn’t even put myself in the predicament of even allowing that. You know I’m a grown woman now.”
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star was married to Guobadia for two years before their separation in early 2021. Despite not having children together, they both had kids from previous relationships. In a statement announcing their split, Pina asked for privacy and mutual respect during such a challenging time.
“After two years of marriage and five years of friendship, Simon and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways,” Falynn wrote on Instagram at the time. “We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other’s lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other’s children.”
Following her divorce, Pina moved on and got engaged to Banks in 2021. Meanwhile, Williams and Guobadia quickly became engaged shortly after their respective divorces were finalized! They later wed in a Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony on Nov. 25, 2022, followed by an American ceremony. However, their relationship hit a rough patch when Williams filed for divorce from Guobadia in February of this year.
Since then, things have gotten extremely messy between Guobadia and Williams and with these latest comments by Pina, things may just get a little messier…
