Amazon has pulled the controversial fake Kim Porter memoir after a dispute concerning its legitimacy. The book claims to reveal alleged abusive details about Diddy that Porter allegedly wrote.

The book “Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice” sparked backlash from Porter’s close friends and family, who said the claims were entirely false. Al B. Sure!, Porter’s ex-husband and Quincy’s father, threatened to take legal action against independent publisher Todd Christopher Guzze, also known as Chris Todd, who claimed he received files, documents, and tapes from individuals close to Porter and Diddy. The book alleged that the singer had a sexual relationship with Diddy, which he called “offensive.” Guzze published the book under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood, and it quickly became a bestseller in September, as reported by Page Six.

Porter’s children have also denounced the memoir and confirmed that she did not write any manuscripts or books. “Anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves,” the statement reads. An Amazon spokesperson has also confirmed that the book has been removed and is not available for sale.

“We were made aware of a dispute regarding this title and have notified the publisher. The book is not currently available for sale in our store.”

Porter is known for her high-profile relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs and her previous marriage to Al B. Sure! She started her career in the music industry as a model for various music videos and as a receptionist for Uptown Records founder Andre Harell. She died on November 15, 2018, of lobar pneumonia after experiencing flu-like symptoms.
