Faith Evans Felony Domestic Violence Case Dismissed As Stevie J Refuses To Testify

Last month we reported that R&B songstress Faith Evans was arrested and charged for felony domestic violence after an alleged physical altercation with husband and producer, Stevie J. Now, since he’s refused to testify, the case has been dismissed.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office says they will no longer pursue prosecution of the legendary singer, as the alleged victim, her husband, declined to speak out against her.

Authorities previously claimed when they arrived the couple’s home last month, Stevie wore “visible marks and scratches” on his face, following a verbal altercation. Evans was arrested and released later that same day on bond. Prior to the case’s dismissal, Stevie J stated that they were still together. A video posted to his social media also confirmed things seem to be ok between the two.
