Former NFL star Antonio Brown is reportedly facing an attempted murder charge and wanted by Miami-Dade Police after getting into a physical fight and alleged shooting on May 16.

Reports claim video allegedly shows him shooting at a man. As we previously shared last month, Antonio Brown was seen on video fighting at a Miami boxing event, hosted by streamer Adin Ross. Although the incident resulted in no arrests at the time, things are now about to change.

According to David Ovalle of the Washington Post, an arrest warrant has been issued for Antonio Brown’s arrest, and he is now facing attempted murder with a firearm. The warrant requires him to post a $10,000 bond and remain under house arrest pending trial.

Miami-Dade Police Accuse Antonio Brown Of Shooting At Man Twice In Viral May Fight

Ahead of the new reports, Antonio Brown previously claimed that he was jumped at the event. He also claimed to have been detained and released by police after sharing his side of the story. According to reports, viral videos from the incident posted to social media, seemingly include the sound of alleged gunfire.

The warrant for his arrest cites witnesses claiming Brown was the alleged shooter. Detectives in Miami reportedly obtained footage of allegedly showing Brown punching another man.

The alleged footage then reportedly shows him snatching the gun of a security officer and running toward the man that he had punched. According to the warrant, two gunshots can be heard on cellphone video as Brown approached the victim. 

Several days after the incident, the victim contacted police detectives. He allegedly claimed that after the initial fight was over, Brown “began to run toward him with a firearm” and fired the weapon twice. The victim claims he was possibly grazed in the neck.
