It’s not a great year for Donald Trump. As we previously reported, the ex-president is being investigated in New York regarding potential financial fraud made by the Trump Organization, on top of another investigation in Georgia connected to his conduct during the 2020 election.

Additionally, Trump is currently under federal investigation for his alleged role in inciting the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
Just recently, the feds raided Donald Trump’s personal home and private club Mar-a-Lago, and reportedly seized classified documents the former president was supposed to turn over to the National Archives. Trump said at the time of the raid, “My attorneys and representatives were cooperating fully, and very good relationships had been established. The government could have had whatever they wanted, if we had it,” his statement read. “Then, out of nowhere and with no warning, Mar-a-Lago was raided at 6:30 in the morning, by VERY large numbers of agents, and even ‘safecrackers.’ They got way ahead of themselves. Crazy!’”

According to Radar Online citing the Washington Post, the embattled ex-president is reportedly struggling to find proper/ seasoned attorneys to fully represent him in the numerous cases against him. Why? Per the outlet, it’s due to the fact he is an “impossible client” and because others fear they might not get paid for their services.

“Everyone is saying no,” one unidentified Republican lawyer told the outlet as another lawyer emphasized how difficult it would be take on a client like Trump due to his alleged history of ignoring his legal team’s advice.
“In olden days, he would tell firms representing him was a benefit because they could advertise off it. Today it’s not the same,” Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, told the outlet.

“He’s also a very difficult client in that he’s always pushing the envelope, he rarely listens to sound legal advice, and he wants you to do things that are not appropriate, ethically or legally,” Cohen added.

Now, these claims despite reports, the ex-president’s spokesperson, Taylor Budowich, told the Washington Post that this isn’t really the case:

“President Trump is represented by some of the strongest attorneys in the country, and any suggestion otherwise is only driven by envy,” Bodowich said, citing lawyers like Jim Trusty and Evan Corcoran who have “decades of prosecutorial experience and have litigated some of the most complex cases in American history.”

Aside from them, Trump’s legal team also includes a New Jersey parking garage lawyer named Alina Habba, as well as Christina Bobb, a former One America News anchor, the outlet notes.
