YouTuber Eugenia Cooney has recently sparked some concern among her fans over her rail-thin appearance in her new video. Eugenia, who has been battling anorexia since joining YouTube back in 2013, has always been open about her struggles with her eating disorder. However, her latest video has caused even more worry among her fans as she is seen wearing a pink Barbie-inspired outfit, and many fans expressed alarm at her extremely thin appearance in the comments section. One person even wished her health and happiness, highlighting the genuine concern that fans have for Eugenia’s well-being.

It’s not the first time that fans have expressed worry for Eugenia Cooney. In 2016, fans pleaded for her to seek help for her apparent eating disorder. And in 2019, she starred in a documentary where she acknowledged her eating disorder and went to rehab. Despite these efforts to address her condition, however, it seems that Eugenia’s recent videos have once again raised concerns about her health. Some users flooded the comments with concern, stating that she needs help for her anorexia and that the imagery is triggering. Internet personality Oli London also posted the video, noting her worryingly thin figure. The outpouring of concern from fans and fellow content creators shows just how deeply Eugenia’s condition affects those who follow her online.

The situation surrounding Eugenia Cooney raises important questions about the responsibility of online platforms like YouTube when it comes to the content they host. Artists and mental health advocates, such as Lily Rose Mills, are calling on YouTube to restrict Eugenia’s content due to concerns that it could be promoting eating disorders. Several petitions have been set up with the aim of removing or restricting Eugenia’s content, but so far, none have been successful. The latest petition has garnered over 41,000 signatures, highlighting the level of public concern surrounding this issue.

Eugenia herself has expressed that she never intended to harm anyone and doesn’t choose to have an eating disorder or mental illness. She believes that the internet should show concern in a kinder way. However, it’s clear that her appearance and the content she creates can have a significant impact on her audience, particularly young viewers who may be vulnerable to developing eating disorders themselves. This raises important ethical questions about when online platforms should intervene if a creator’s appearance could potentially influence a young audience.

As fans continue to worry about Eugenia’s condition, it remains to be seen what actions will be taken by both the individual and the platform to address these concerns.

  1. this article is not correct at all. her followers do wish her well but, her acknowledgement of being sick is wrong, she denies having an ED, says she was 5150 without her knowledge and that it was the worst thing ever in her life, that she is just naturally skinny. she also says she lied in her come back with Shane Dawson about having an ED. That it was lies it’s all filmed, she denies, and says she’s fine. She was forced into saying she was on the mend and has an ED..
