Welp, looks like Erika Kirk is done letting the internet run wild with stories about her late husband.
The widow of controversial commentator and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk announced she’ll be sitting down face-to-face with right-wing podcast host Candace Owens in a private meeting aimed at addressing the swirl of conspiracy theories surrounding Charlie’s death. No cameras. No livestreams. No Twitter fingers. Just a “real” conversation.
“Candace Owens and I are meeting for a private, in-person discussion on Monday, December 15,” Kirk wrote late Sunday on X.
She made it clear this wasn’t about clicks or public spectacle.
“@RealCandaceO and I have agreed that public discussions, livestreams, and tweets are on hold until after this meeting. I look forward to a productive conversation. Thank you,” she added.

Owens has been one of the loudest voices pushing alternative theories about what happened on Sept. 10, when Charlie Kirk was fatally shot. While law enforcement has laid out a clear narrative, Owens has repeatedly questioned it, fueling speculation online without offering evidence, a move that’s stirred tension even within conservative circles.
According to FBI officials, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson has been charged in the shooting. Prosecutors say Robinson confessed to his romantic partner and appeared to confess again in group messages on Discord. Authorities also say Robinson’s parents recognized their son in images released of the suspected shooter and persuaded him to turn himself in.
Despite that, Owens has continued to cast doubt on the FBI’s account, keeping conspiracy talk alive and loud.
Erika Kirk hasn’t minced words about how she feels.
During a CBS News town hall, she shut down the rumors flat-out, calling them baseless and stressing that she has personally seen FBI evidence tying the accused gunman to her husband’s killing.
Still, instead of trading shots online, Kirk is choosing to address it head-on, privately.
Owens acknowledged the meeting shortly after Kirk’s post, responding, “I am very much looking forward to this discussion.”
For now, the tweets are paused, the mics are muted, and all eyes are on what happens when two strong personalities step into the same room — no timeline, no audience, just the truth and whatever comes with it.
