Eric Bellinger Inigo Pascual & Sam Concepcion & More “Rise” To Help People To #keeponrising Over Social Injustice & COVID-19!

Manila’s leading international independent record label, Tarsier Records engineered the Southeast meets West collaboration between GRAMMY award-winning R&B/Hip Hop songwriter & artist Eric Bellinger, Filipino artists Inigo PascualSam ConcepcionVince Nantes, producer/label founder Moophs & Malaysia’s pride Zee Avi. The new track “RISE” is available on all streaming platforms, serves as an inspiration to stay positive during a challenging series of 2020 headlines that include the global battle against COVID-19, social injustice & the fight for press freedom.

This is the first time for GRAMMY award winning artist Eric Bellinger collaborated with Southeast Asian artists, but is well known for his massive collaborative singles like “Type A Way” with Chris Brown & OG Parker, alongside songs he co-wrote like Fine China with Brown. The music industry has seen an exponential growth of international artists of Filipino descent in recent years on the Billboard & national radio charts, like the Black Eyed Peas, Bruno Mars, H.E.R, J Rey Soul, Saweetie, Guapdad 4000 & P-Lo, so it’s no surprise that more artists are collaborating with artists from Southeast Asia. With a combined population of over 330M, the Philippines, Malaysia & Indonesia are some of the leading countries in terms of digital streaming on platforms like Spotify & YouTube and a region frequently toured by global artists like Russ, Manila Grey, Little Mix & Miguel.

“No matter what or where the problem is, we’ll face it together as humans,” producer Moophs spoke on what sparked the fuel behind the project. LA-based singer-songwriter, Vince Nantes, who recently co-wrote the massive K-Pop BTS hit, “Black Swan,” noticed that the unprecedent times created by the pandemic, political differences, and various protests took a toll on humanity. He shared that he wanted to create something people could hold on to in these trying times and remember back for years to come.

RISE” is a message that calls on humanity to keep on rising, no matter what you are going thru or where you are, we are experiencing these challenges and uncomfortable situations together. The additional artists featured on the track include singer/actor Inigo Pascual Jo Koy’s In My Elements (Netflix) & The Crossover on myxTV (Amazon Prime), pop icon Sam Concepcion & actor Halfworld (HBO) & For The Broken Hearted (Netflix) with Malaysian pride Zee Avi. Zee was named on the Associated Press’ “Best of 2009” albums list alongside artists like Jay-Z & Norah Jones.

Rise can be found on all streaming platforms, on all social media platforms with the hashtag #keeponrising with a powerful animated music video above.
