#EndSars: Nigerian Singer Tiwa Savage Calls On Beyoncé Amid Police Brutality Protests Abroad

In addition to fellow African artists like Burna BoyDavidoWizKid and more, Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage is calling out Beyoncé amid the police brutality protests abroad and #EndSARS movement; which calls for the disbandment of a Nigeria Police Force special Criminal Investigation and Intelligence department called Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

Following in the steps of the aforementioned artists, plus artists like DrakeLil BabyPopcaanStefflon Don, Savage took to her social media, using her platform for good. While noting how grateful she was to have worked alongside Bey on the ‘Lion King‘ projects ‘The Gift‘ and ‘Black Is King,’ Savage proceeds to call out Bey and her team for uplifting the culture, but failing to speak out on the protests abroad.

Savage also mentions how members of the African community stood up for the #BlackLivesMatter movement in the States, and wishes for stars in the States, who use/elevate African culture in their music and projects, to return the favor and lend their voices and platforms for the same police brutality happening against Black people across the pond.
