While speaking with the New York Times, the Tesla founder said he supports Kanye but think he should take on the challenge in the next 4 years. “I’ve known him for at least 10 years, maybe longer,” Musk said of West, 43, who “texts often.” Musk, 49 added, “I’ve done my best to convince him that 2024 would be better than 2020.”
Aside from this, Musk shared that he reached out to his good friend following a recent “tweet rampage” to check in on him. “When he was about a third of the way through the tweet rampage, just to see if he was doing OK, I sent him a text saying, you know, just checking on you, a lot of people are worried, just wondering if you’re OK,” he said.
He continued, “And he called me back and he actually seemed fine. He video FaceTimed me and he was in Wyoming with a bunch of friends. He seemed fine on the call. But it sounds like things are, you know, not fine. There seem to be a lot of issues.”
Now, although Kanye did not make it on the ballot in South Carolina where he made his shocking comments about his family, he made it clear that he’s still in the race.
Kanye took to Twitter this Saturday to apologize to his wife, Kim Kardashian after publicly admitting that he wanted to divorce her. He also revealed on Twitter that they tried to abort their first daughter, North West.
Kim has publicly spoken out to ask for “compassion” from fans following Kanye’s latest “bipolar” episode.
