Elon Musk Overtakes Bill Gates & Becomes World’s Second Richest Man
Elon musk has been stacking his coins because he just surpassed Bill Gates as the second richest man in the world.
Bloomberg reports that the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX has overtaken Bill Gates and is now behind Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
Due to an increase in Tesla stock, Musk’s net worth is now $127.9 billion, which is $200 million more than Gates’s $127.7 billion. Bezos is steaming ahead with $182 billion. This is only the second time in the index’s eight-year history that Gates hasn’t been ranked in the top two.

As we reported, last week the 49-year-old’s personal wealth grew by $15 billion after Tesla got a spot in the S&P 500 index, and he became the world’s third-richest person, overtaking Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
However, it is important to note that Gates would be a bigger billionaire if it weren’t for his charitable donations. A while ago, he and his wife, Melinda Gates, pledged to donate most of their wealth to charity, and he has been giving out hundreds of millions ever since!
