Elon Musk Dares Authorities To Arrest Him After Reopening Tesla Plant In California

Elon Musk has reopened his main Tesla plant in Fremont after it was closed since March 23 due to the coronavirus pandemic. He has dared authorities to arrest him since he defied the state’s quarantine orders.

According to the Daily Mail, Elon Musk went on Twitter earlier today to make his announcement stating the company will be “restarting production today against Alameda County rules’ Musk continued to tweet that he will be the only one arrested if authorities plan to visit the plant. Over the weekend, Musk filed a lawsuit against local officials after they ordered the plant to stay closed until June.

‘I will be on the line with everyone else, If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me.’

There were other reports of employees who were told by Tesla if they didn’t report to work, they faced the risk of losing their jobs. Fremont police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques said the authorities will take action once they recieve an order from the county’s Health Officer.

Musk plans to move the factory to Texas or Nevada when the pandemic slows down after news of the lawsuit broke out.

‘Frankly, this is the final straw, Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately.

‘If we even retain Fremont manufacturing activity at all, it will be dependent on how Tesla is treated in the future.’
